I have an IMDB page. Do I need a website?

Your website is a place where you and only you shine! On IMDB you exist in a sea alongside thousands of other actors. Yes, an IMDB page is an essential tool as an actor, but having a personally branded website elevates your web presence and creates a distinct space solely showcasing your essence.

Will a website make me more discoverable?

Absolutely. One benefit of having a website is being more searchable on Google. We’ll optimize your site to take advantage of Google search which makes you more discoverable. Also, if prospective clients (casting directors, agents, directors, etc.) do their homework and Google you, you want them to see you have a solid presence and get a feel for who you are at a glance. The more they see of you while searching, the more tangible and less elusive you will be to them.

I am so not technical. Help!

This will be where your website is hosted - where the content lives on the internet. Don’t worry if you don’t have an account yet, I will help you set one up. And when you work with me, you’ll receive 20% off your first annual subscription.

DOMAIN (optional)

This is an address specific to your website - what people type into their browser to find you. A personal domain (i.e. www.lindsaysparks.com) is recommended for searchability. If you don’t have a personal domain, that’s okay, you’ll be assigned a generic one through Squarespace. We can explore your options if this is something you are interested in now or in the future.
